Annapurna region

Annapurna offers a great diversity both geographically and culturally: several ethnic groups live in this region, including Gurung.It is a demanding trekking because of the crossing of the Thorong Pass (5416m).At the pass, the view goes on the northern slope of the Himalayas, a vast desert region of typical Tibetan plateau edged with green hills crossed early in the trek.
