Langtang Gosainkunda Trekking

Langtang Gosainkunda trekking is one of middle level trekkings. This trekking requires trekking experience and a good physical form. Langtang Gosainkunda trekking covers Langtang valley, the pretty Langtang valleys, Kyanjin Monastery, view of Langtang, Ganesh himal, Langsisa ri, Yabru himal, Dorje Lakpa/Dokpo, Langup, Morimoto peak. This route follows along the Langtang river from Syarpa goan.
Gosainkund is a very popular and holy lake in Hinduism and Buddhism. If the lake remain calm, it can be seen the image of Lord Shiva in middle the lake at buttom. People celebrate great festivals two times in a year. These festivals are very important in shamanism.
There are other lakes more than 100 lakes. Among them Bhairab Kund, Saraswati kund, Dhudh Kund, Nag Kund, Surya Kund, Bhut Kund…etc. From Lauri Binayak pass Ganesh himal range and Langtang Lirung I and II, Manaslu, Nagdi Chuli and Nagdi Himal can be seen.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, reception at the airport and transfer to hotel , night in hotel.

Day 03: Departure in local Bus to Shyabru Bensi 2250m.
Day 04: Shabru Bensi to Lama Hotel.
Day 05: Lama Hotel to Langtang 3520m.
Day 06: Langtang to Kyangin Gompa 3800m.
Day 07: Kyangin Gompa.
Day 08: Kyangin Gompa to Lama Hotel.
Day 09: Lama Hotel to Shyabru.
Day 10: Shyabru to Shingompa 3250m.
Day 11: Shin Gompa to Gosainkunda 4380m.
Day 12: Gosainkunda to Dhimsa.
Day 13: Dhimsa to Dhunche.
Day 14: Dhunche to Kathmandu in bus night in hotel.
Day 15: Free day in Kathmandu.
Day 16: Transfer to airport.
